Car has been towed and is now in the hands of our trusty mechanic. Insurance reimbursed us for the tow. So now we wait to find out what's the matter with the blessed thing.

When we got it to Pete he immediately hooked it up to his diagnostic machine and concluded instantly from it that the battery is dead. Let's hope that's indeed all it is.
