It's my birthday and the phone keeps ringing. None of the calls have been from the job I want. Fuck! But it's still a nice birthday. Just wish I had that job.

Heck yes. I love that book. It made me cry. It was very ... well done. The first story I had to read cause of the Tower, and the rest - I finished it in 2 days.

I am reading Dreamcatcher again - haven't since it was new. Shit demons. Heh.

I found it to be the most depressing King work I've read, but it was so beautiful. Great story structure too.

I take it Brautigan's offer to speed up the Low Men's work by fifty years results in the Beamquake in "Song of Susannah"?
