Writer's Block: Double vision

Okay, so I just finished reading John Dies at the End and now I will always be afraid that my double in an alternate universe was grown in a vat by a sadistic Cosmic Horror with the sense of humor of a sociopathic 13 year-old boy and his army of non-corporeal time-traveling undead and that it can at any time erupt into a profanity-spewing biological horror under their direct control.
But all I really hope for me from an alternate universe is that he has done all the things I currently want to do and accomplish, just that he got serious about them ten years earlier. I hope he's a New York Times best-selling author. Or a New Amsterdam Times bestselling author in the even that history didn't pan out the same way.
