Christian Scientists may let their children die because of their beliefs, but they are not (to my knowledge) going out there and killing, harassing, and assaulting people (virtually and reality-wise). So how are they worse than Scientology, again?
More deaths attributed to them. Possibly thousands. Children dying horrible deaths from treatable illnesses. I consider that worse. Also, They are trying to enact a bill that would make the national health plan, if it goes through, pay for their prayer services. They charge people hundreds of dollars to pray for them, and charge them even when their children die.
I think it's popular to publicize and make fun of Scientology, which granted, is fucked up and terrible and they do awful things, but I don't know if they do AS MANY. Or maybe it's just in a different way? I don't think the Christian Scientists get enough bad press.
