Tim Curry's other perennial Halloween favorite... the one nobody talks about.

Way back when I was a kid I remember channel surfing one autumn afternoon and landing on a strange low-budget British Halloween special about a boarding school for witches. It was called The Worst Witch and I forgot about it for many years until Harry Potter came out and I was like, "she totally ripped this off!" But The Worst Witch is truly distinctive because the school was not run by some charming old Dumbledore... but by Tim Curry himself.

I promptly forgot about it again until today when cmpriest posted Curry's big musical number from the show; a musical number that makes the worst segment of Rocky Horror sound like the best of Andrew Lloyd Weber.

I now give you the scariest thing you will see this Halloween: Tim Curry dancing with Isis wings...

The Isis wings are priceless, as is the tamborine. It's so obvious the "writers" just thought of the worst rhyming words ever.

If I had to try and guess what was going through Tim Curry's head in front of that blue screen I would say something along the lines of "God I hope the paycheck for this clears the bank."

Sometimes I wonder how Tim Curry became such a big name with films such as this.

I also wonder how he didn't STARVE as a 'young' up and coming actor.

I don't remember what year this was made, but I think he was still thought of as that weird guy from Rocky Horror. He wasn't super famous, but he wasn't unknown either.

Wow...when you said Worst Witch I was picturing the one that is on YTV now. I was like "Didn't know it was that old".

But omg...I love Tim Curry and that was just...bad. So bad. Words cannot describe. I prefer to hear him singing without SEEING him at the same time. Ie) Fern Gully. That was perfect.
