The weekend in which we almost bowled

We were supposed to go bowling this weekend. Twice. Last night we were going to do it as part of pinkfaeriestars' birthday, but Mel and I wound up leaving thanks to the extremely rude, unhelpful bowling alley staff. To say nothing of it being the most ridiculously overpriced bowling alley I've ever seen. Tonight we were supposed to go to zombiecowboy's annual birthday bowling party, but the blanket of snow which fell upon the city made driving all the way down to where the party was an extremely bad idea. So instead Mel and I are spending the night in the warm toastiness of our apartment playing video games. It's nice, but it's kind of disheartening to think I'm just not meant to bowl.

Having experienced the pleasure of Wii bowling I can say it is definately on the wish list. It may be the only way I ever get to bowl again!

I was going to say the same thing about the Wii bowling! Matt and I love it! I also love Raving Rabbids and he just got zelda this weekend. I would take Wii bowling over real bowling any day! I am so much better at it :)

I try to bowl, but it just doesn't work out for me. Well, unless we're talkig about bowling "gutterballs." Which, incidently is the name of the awesome dream sequence in The Big Lebowski.
