A brief update

I didn't get the job I interviewed for. I'm not exactly surprised because I knew there was a lot of competition. But still, it was such a sweet gig. I'm going to miss that place and I've only been there once.

A job with daytime hours, Monday through Friday, preferably with me at a desk rather than on my feet like I am now. Ideally I'd like to be doing some kind of research, but there doesn't seem to be many opportunities for that around here that don't require a ton of letters after your name. This was a research position for which I was actually quallified, thus it was doubly hard to lose.
