Today I did nothing. Today I slept the sleep of the ancients. Today I went to bed in daylight and woke up in darkness. Today was gooood...
I've been burying myself in my shiny new copy of Exalted: The Abyssals, which is about as close to a bona fide Hellraiser roleplaying game as we're ever likely to come. Body-piercing bondage freaks from the depths of the labyrinths of hell come to slice 'n dice the living. Good stuff. Once again my imaginary bloodlust is sated.
Tonight I've got to get my butt in gear and write up my 7th Sea game for tomorrow. I thought about just cancelling again, but I cancelled last week. Sure it's been a long week and I really don't feel like messing with it, but it's not fair to my players. Trouble is, I keep coming up with great ideas for games but I hate the actuall process of GM'ing. Maybe I should just start writing game supplements and live vicariously through the others who will be running and enjoying my games. Oh, the travails of a gamer geek. Woe are we.
Meanwhile, back in what the naieve and superstitious foolishly refer to as "the real world," I got a copy of my credit report today and found that only about 13% of U.S. Consumers have worse credit than I do! So much for getting a low interest rate on my car. And probably so much for getting a loan from a bank, too >:( But, I'm not composing my death haiku just yet. In a few months I won't have to worry about rent or utilities anymore and I'll be able to unload all my financial guns on all my debt, meaning I should be able to rapidly pay down an auto loan even with a higher interest rate. I've decided that is my goal: Get all my non-student loan debt paid off, then return to school. I don't have much compared to some people, but I've got enough to form a ball and chain that I want gone. That's my goal so far, now if I can just get my car...
But for now, I must set sail. 7th Sea beckons.
