It finally happened. Today is the day when I got tired of chicken. You must understand, I eat chicken a lot. Like about four times a week, and have done so for several years. Today, when my dad arrived he brought me some leftover chicken strips from Chili's. I was just eating them and enjoying them very much when, for some reason, I just looked down at them, got a queasy feeling, and my mind said "this is disgusting."

I never thought my life would end up this way. I never really thought about how my life would end up at all and that's why it's this way. But I know one thing's for sure. I don't want any chicken for a very long time.

Maybe the shifty, skulking, menacing employees of Mandarin House who made my sweet and sour chicken yesterday put some kind of narcotic in the chicken to make me hate chicken and thus never come to their restaurant again. It's not the worst thing I've heard of going on in the kitchens of Chinese restaurants, you know. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.

I want beef. Beef and pork. Pork, yeah... the other white meat...

I've actually had that happen to me, only with beef. I ended up giving up beef for over a year, and started eating chicken 4 or five times a week. I'd try a burger every couple of months or so only to throw it away after a couple bites. Eventually though, I really wanted a good steak, and man, did it taste goooood.

And don't knock cat meat. You know you like the taste of it. Or at least you did up till now.

Cat meat? Is that a referrence to what they use in Chinese restaurants? *shrug* Hey, I don't care where the meat comes from. I just hope they don't jack off in it.

You haven't truly lived until you've hunted down a cat and prepared it for your own meal. I particularly like cat meat with a touch of nutmeg and curry powder.

And tabby is always better than Persian.

I will pass the word along. I think she's awfully fond of you. Count on her to feed you well the next time you're in town.

That happens to me a lot with tuna fish, as odd as it may sound. Maybe it's because I used to eat it a lot when I was little- I can barely tolerate it any more. (Or maybe there's really trace mercuary poisoning in it...nah.) I never get tired of beef though ~carnivore purr~ and I could probably eat steak every night for the rest of my life without getting sick of it. Just not tuna fish... ^.^

*ahem* Madam! I hardly believe I know you well enough for you to carnivore purr at me! *ahem* Wait, what's that you say? Steaks every night? Oh, very well, I suppose I can let my morals flag just this once. Let the devouring commence...

On a related note, my mom burned me out on tuna when I was little too. It's only been in the last few years I've begun to enjoy it again. Interestign that the way I enjoy it now is none of the ways she used to prepare it...
