Whew

Having guests is hard work. Cleaning house is such an alien concept to me. I don't live in a sty, but I'm not exactly fastiduious about having all surfaces gleaming either. But... I want to have the house looking nice when Anya arrives. Granted, Anya would love me if I lived on a dung heap and wore sack cloth and bitter ashes, but, well, let's just say I don't want to make her *have* to love me that much :)

Lesley has often said that if we were in a relationship we'd fight all the time. I'm beginning to think she may be right, but not for the reasons she thinks. Lesley likes a clean house. If I had a nickle for every time I've interrupted her at house cleaning I could hire a maid for her and quit feeling bad for interrupting her. I, on the other hand, look around me and go "Okay, can I still see the original color of the carpet/sink/shower tile? Yes? Okay. Then it can go another month without cleaning." So yeah, romantic entanglements with us would likely be messy. Get it? MESSY? HAR! HAR! *smacks self* Ow!...

But the point is, the house is clean and now I can just chill and rock out to some nice dark metal until Anya and Co. arrive. So why am I still on here talking to y'all? I dunno. Guess I'll see ya later! As soon as Anya leaves tomorrow more friends arrive and it's off to downtown KC for the EXTOL/DEMON HUNTER concert. Expect a long post tomorrow night telling you all about it. I know, I know, you're all reading this going "Gee Tyree, we can barely CONTAIN our anticipation and enthusiasm." To which I say, that's very sweet of you all! Thanks!

Looks like a couple people that I planned on going with are backing out. Care to car-pool?? I'll try and wake up around 5:00 tonight and check my email for any updates on your end. If you live in the Kingsboro area (I think you mentioned you lived over there once...anyways), I'm basically on the way. Right off 23rd Street heading towards I-435.

If not, that's cool. Regardless, I'll be there tonight.
