Hark hear the bells sweet silver bells
Nov. 24th, 2004 04:28 amAm I the only one who thinks "Carol of the Bells" is a really damn creepy song? It sounds like horror movie music! And has been used as such at some point, if I'm not mistaken.
Speaking of horror movies, have you ever had a dream where you picked up and continued another dream you had days, weeks, or years ago? That happened to me tonight. This dream ended on a cliffhanger and tonight I picked it up right back where it left off. It even kept switching camera angles like a movie. Wish it had been a more pleasant subject, though. Disgusting zombie mutant things which turned you into one of they touched you. I got touched. I guess we'll see how that goes the next time I dream it.
I also keep having dreams about wrecking my car. I don't think they're prophetic since it's always in a wildly fictious, clearly imaginary landscape that changes each time I dream it. And I'm never hurt; the car's just wrecked up. I think it must be a fear of loss of control, because I'm always struggling to drive in the dream and the vehicle just won't obey me.
Why am I writing a post about dreams? I never read other people's posts when I do, so doing so is hypocritical. It is snowing like crazy outside and has been for hours. It's beautiful. I wish I had some people around to snowball fight with. That would be killer.
