A fuckathon, as it is commonly understood, is marathon sex between two ravenously horny people that lasts many, many hours. As for time limits... Well, I imagine the number of hours is limited only by the particpants' stamina and desire to remain engaged. I would postulate that during a fuckathon, any ahem deeds the particpants wish to engage in are fair game as long as they can talk each other into them ;)

Yes, but marathon's are usually determined by _length_ not time. And as we all know where sex is concerned, length varies greatly from person to person ;)
