Quote of the weekend:
"I'm sorry, but I'm busy all day at work. After I get home at night the last thing I want to do is bounce up and down and sweat."
-My friend Lesley explaining at dinner why she hasn't been using her new home gym.

Date: 2003-03-10 07:49 pm (UTC)Hey, Tyree, do you realize how much of our time we spend coming up with this stuff, only to never use it again? Lol. We should carry small tape recorders and enough hour-long tapes to keep an endless cycle going from the time we wake up to the time we sleep. Wear it on your belt or something. If anything was worth saving, make a note of it and copy that particular tape to a spare later. Then use the same tapes over and over daily, copying the good stuff to the spare. It'd be funny to sit down one day and listen to all the stuff you copied. It wouldn't be a re-telling either. It'd be live stuff. Maybe develop a routine to do stand-up when you get enough material.
Anyway, it was just a thought. It'd preserve memories like Lesley's wonderful unintentional lines that she seems to come up with at random. ^_^ I'm sure you'd get some other awesome stuff on tape too. Just turn it off when you go to the bathroom though. (*Squick*)
Hope to see you on AIM later, man.
