The more I think about it, the more I think I really would like to go back to school. The question is, what to major in. More pressing is the question of whether I should pursue a Master's or a second Bachelor's degree. I'm thinking a Masters is more beneficial, but I know some people have more than one Bachelors. Any of you non-traditional students out there care to give me advice based on your own personal experiences?

In one week we'll be putting on our show. We are not loud enough, the blocking is nullifying and couldn't leave the play more passionless if it were a vampire at an Amish wedding, and the director is having issues with the people who run the building we're performing it which came very near to boiling over last night and which I fear will fully do so before opening night.

Yeah, it sounds bad. But I've been in spectacular plays that have come together out of worse. I'm just more anxious here because they're trying to start an annual festival with this and if it bombs this year, then I fear it won't happen again. It's ballsy to attempt to compete with our city's long-established Shakespeare In the Park and I'd hate to see it fail.

I'm trying to make friends with a couple of people in the cast. It's a little sad to think that I haven't made a single lasting friendship outside of livejournal in the last four years. Is it just me, or is it harder to make lasting friendships once you get older? In high school and college everybody wants cammraderie, someone to do something with and be around. And more importantly, they have time to do it in. But once you're beyond that everybody's busy with their work and their families and just as likely to look at you like you're crazy if you ask if they'd like to hang out that weekend as they are to actually accept.

Is it like this for anybody else, or am I doing something wrong?

It's a shame there's no such thing as Christmas in July, since when you think about it, LJ is really the perfect Christmas list. Everyone says exactly what they want here, so why not give it to them? With that in mind, I am going to begin Christmas shopping early this year.
