Writer's Block: Heavenly Bodies

Venus is Venus because it looks pretty, (this was before we found out it was an inferno of poison gases,) Jupiter is Jupiter because it's big and impressive, Saturn is Saturn because it's big and impressive, but not as big and impressive as Jupiter, and so on.
If it were in our solar system I would name it Bacchus, as he was the last of the twelve great Olympians to join the pantheon. If it had a moon I would name it Hestia in honor of the goddess who gave up her place at the table for him.
(Yes I realize that in our solar system Apollo is S.O.L. His sister got the moon so, I don't know, give him an asteroid or something if they haven't already.)
