1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Had sex
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yeah, although I was slightly over the deadline on it.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, thank God.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Does my cat count?
5. What countries did you visit?
New Calcutta, The Great Eastern Reich, Vargas, Savonarolla, The Totec Nation. Read my novel and you can visit them too.
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
A significant other.
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory?
The week of July 4th 'cause

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finishing my novel.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not having my novel ready for publication yet.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
A bad cold that kept me down. Acid reflux disease which is barely under control by medication now. A cyst which had to be cut out of my forhead.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My trans-blue quilt-top NJ series B.C. Rich Warlock guitar. (You'll shoot your eye out, kid!)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Lesley for patiently allowing me to rehash painful topics again and again until I was satisfied.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Meghan's behaviour hasn't appalled me per se, but it has definately left me depressed.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Fast food I should be able to live without and *game show announcer voice* a BRAND! NEW! CAAAAR!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
St. Louis Kotei, GenCon, Matrix Revolutions, ice skating and Return of the King.
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
Blind Guardian - "Time Stands Still (At the Iron Hill)"
17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder?
I just feel older. Not happier, or sadder.

Spent more time with friends and more time editing.

Developed a deep attachment, but I wouldn't call it love.

This is one of the few years where I can genuinely say I've acquired no one new whom I genuinely grew to loathe.

Strapping Young Lad

My car and my new guitar.

Not getting screwed over in the Meghan situation.

The Judicial system's continual hellbent-for-leather misinterpretation of the 2nd ammendment of the United States Constitution.

Kate, Amanda, Adrian, Susan, Meghan (no particular order there.)
