Last night after a two-month hiatus I finally got to play L5R with other real humans. It's annoying to have busy friends with school work when you desire nothing more to have armies of samurai clash on the field of battle. It was a good release. Plus I got to spend time with Meghan which is always fun. It turns out that in the spring she'll be going back to school too. I'm starting to feel like Xander on Buffy the Vampire Slayer circa the fourth season with all my friends pursuing higher education and me slacking in my folks' basement. Only I don't have a hot nymphomaniac who used to be a demon for a girlfriend. Maybe that's for the best though because then the resemblance would be too uncanny.
Happy Day of Gluttony, everyone. Be sure to thank God for everything and everyone you have, even if you don't believe in Him. Especially if you don't believe in Him. 'Cause hey, if it turns out He does exist and is cool over that whole disbelief thing, then, well, that's one more thing to be thankful for.
