Well, it finally happened. We are all to be punished for Porn Guy's malfesiance at work. He is fired and we law-abiding folk are banned from the internet for good. Burn. I guess I will just have to find a new way to stick it to The Man since my weapon of choice - getting paid Phat Cash to surf the internet - is no longer at my disposal. Maybe it's for the best. Ebay is a bad addiction.
On an unrelated note, is it just me, or does it seem like the ratio of women to men on LJ is like, five-to-one? And of those women, most of them fit the same profile: late-teens to early twenties bisexual goth chicks. NOTE: That's not a slam to anyone of that description, including my several friends of that description. I beat up anyone who slams my friends of that description. It's just something I've noticed and I wonder why it is. Granted, journal-writing has long been stereotyped as the exclusive province of melodramatic pubescent females with men only writing journals when facing certain death in doomed artic expiditions. But it's got to be something more fundamental then that.
Then again, what the hell am I thinking? This is the internet where nothing is as it seems. And that 18-year-old bisexual goth chick you're talking to is just as likely to really be a fifty-four year-old man with four kids and LOTS of attention from the FBI. Every single one of us on here could be one-legged colorblind Pakistani children and no one would ever know. But that would mean Pakistan places much more emphasis on information technology then it does on health care; an apalling travesty by the standards of any civilized country. Alas, we can only sit in our darkened rooms listening to depressing music while experimenting sexually and pray it is not so...
