I am the owner of *Say it with me now in your best Game Show Host voice* A Brand! New! Caaaar! Yep, that's right. Things went off smoothly and for all I know my old car is now sitting in a small, tightly squashed cube in a junkyard someplace.

It was weird letting go of the Buick, but not as weird as I expected it to be. I mean, I grew up in that car and now that it's gone I feel... well, not really much of anything. When I drove on the lot with it I was just sort of like. "Well, this is it." And when I drove off without it, I was like "Well, that was that."

Goodbye, Little Girl. You served us well. You will never be forgotten.

*sigh* I am happy. I'm feeling damn good. Of course, money will be tight. I've got approximately a grand in sales tax to cough up by the 23rd of next month and that's going to mean a tight belt for the next month and doing without a few things... Not the least of which being a Slayer/Arch Enemy/Hatebreed concert I was really beginning to look forward to *frown.* But in the long run, it's okay. It's worth it for the peace of mind that comes with actually being roadworthy. Right now, I couldn't be unhappy about things if I wanted to.

Now to finish moving and then start unpacking. Can't rest yet!

Oye.. moving. What a pain in the patootie. I'm currently packing up and moving also. Not much fun I must say. *shrugs* Then I get to unpack, re-arrange, and hope that Justin doesn't fuss over the loss of most of his closet. *smiles*

Thanks for the kind wishes. It's a thirty-five dollar concert, but alas when you only make $1700 per month and a thousand of it must now go to the state license bureau, it's thirty-five dollars too much. Oh well, to quote a singer with a vastly different music style than Slayer, Arch Enemy, or Hatebreed, "I will survive..."

Wow... I am flaberghasted and don't know what to say. That's ultra sweet and kind and stuff! I should insist you not do such a thing, but I also know better than to look a gift mistress in the mouth so... okay, but only if it won't take away from you. I mean, I know you've got huge financial issues with your school and that's definately more important than concert tickets for a person you hardly know. *hug* Thanks though! Even if it turns out you can't, thanks very much for the wonderful sweet thought.
