Meghan the Elf Maid was sick today and so the evening of lugging stuff with her did not happen. I am happy because it meant I got to lay down and sleep four more hours tonight which I desperatenly needed. I am sad because it meant I didn't get to spend an evening entirely alone in her company. Strangely, the fact that it meant I did not get a whole truckload of stuff hauled like I desperately need to is not bothering me at all.

I love this weather. Autumn is a two-edged sword because it is the time of year when I most want someone to cuddle with. Fortunately, autumn rocks enough that even when completely consumed by lonliness you can still enjoy it. Go autumn. Go me. Go sleep.

They don't, really. That's why I was hoping to have the evening with her to maybe feel the situation out a little bit more. She's Adam & Amy's friend and I mostly see her when the four of us socialize. Thing is, I think my interest might just be a reaction to her literally being the first single girl I've become a acquainted with in the past year who doesn't live on the other side of the continent and I'd hate to get in a relationship based on those reasons. I really dig hanging out with her, I'm just trying to see if enough common ground is there and, equally importantly, interest on her part.
