Finding the gratitude

Okay so I'm broke and our constantly-crashing computer seems to be entering its final death rattle and we have no money to fix it. (Or to do anything else.) In light of this, it's important to count the blessings. Fortunately, there's a meme to do just that.

10) We finally discovered a good Chinese buffet to eat at that's near our house.
9) I'm running my RPG again after a year's downtime.
8) Getting to play L5R again after a similar year's worth of time away from it.
7) Dethklok finally have a cd and I own it.
6) Recent e-mails from december_star and persephone_20 letting me know that people on the other side of the planet are thinking about me.
5) My wife getting involved with Aphrodite's Apples
4) Actually getting to enjoy autumn, my favorite season, for a few weeks instead of the abrupt transition from summer to winter that we usually get.
3) My job.
2) Having time to write.
1) Starting to eat healthier... Sunday at Sonic notwithstanding.

Also, do you really listen to Behemoth - "Demigod"? are they not death metal polish band? If so, how cool! Have you tried listing to Ackercocke?

They are the same Behemoth. I don't have their album yet but that song is on a compilation I have. Really good riffs :) I haven't heard of Ackercocke. What are they like.

You're very welcome for the comments. I know what it's like to have to defend your beliefs just because you refuse to acknowledge all other beliefs as insidious fallen idols from the pits of blackest darkness.

Ackercocke are black metal too. Their stuff is variable in quality though. They use sound bites from hammer horror films on the theme of satanic witchcraft stuff. So, yeah , a bit dodgy! But its all theatre as far as i can tell. Really, i only like Leviathan. The video is pants but the song is good http://www.akercocke.com/index2.htm

Really, I am a david bowie fan. Otherwise my taste is quite wide as I listen to anything from Kate bush, to Nine inch nails, to Marilyn manson and Within Temptation, oh and tori amos!!

I've not really had to defend my beleifs before, so this is all new to me and I welcome your input very much! I do think I am beginning to sound like a whinger though! So I may temper my posts on Christina LJ in future.

I love Tori Amos, pretty much all the artists you listed actually. Just got into Within Temptation very recently and am really liking them.
