Well this all looks familiar

Guess what? I'm an overnight security guard again! Yes, tonight I will be babysitting the Void Circle Pharmacy while an overnight crew comes in to wax the floors. I figure by being willing to take the shifts I'm asked to they'll be less likely to hold it against me when I ask off for my gaming nights - which I do intend to ask off for, thank you very much. Anyway, it'll be fun to sit in a warehouse all night for old time's sake :) Now tomorrow will suck a little bit because I get off at 7 am, then we're meeting with the reverend for our wedding at 10:45, then I have to be back to work at 5 pm. I hope I can manage to get some kind of nap in between all that. Anyway, at least I'll only be working 5 till close instead of a full nine hour shift.

Yesterday at work they ordered Chipotle for lunch. My only other experience eating Chipotle food was a bad one, but I figured I'd give them another try. This was nasty too - nasty and soggy. So today when Mel and I went to take care of kakita_shisumo and duendegrrl's dogs while they're gone for the weekend we decided to get Taco Bell to make up for the nasty Chipotle experience. Sadly, all our food came out to us nasty and soggy again. And by soggy I mean soaking wet, dripping with water. We got our money back and I don't think I'm ever messing with takeout Mexican food again. Two gross-outs in one day is too many.

So that's my postcard for this exciting Friday night. Hope everyone else is out having lots of fun.

Maybe you'll have a crazy adventure. Empty warehouses at night are prone to adventurous times... Though Void Circle Pharmacy? It sounds like a bad cover-up for a creepy occult order. Maybe you'll have crazy undead adventures! (Don't forget to call me if you want back-up, I'm so there...) ~grin~

It's just my code name for the major chain pharmacy for which I now work. Naturally nothing could top my undead adventures in my old job, though. Although I'd take the undead any day over certain aspects of our customer base, notably the middle-aged women who grumble about their diabetes while purchasing candy and cigarettes.
