Don't you hate it when you get the theme song from an asaninely saccharine children's cartoon show in your head all day? I'm tired, I'm stressed from talking to car dealers all day, I've been kept awake all evening by Mexican Mama's brood of yapping, two-legged hyenas all evening and I can't stop singing a song about adorable little HAMSTERS!!

I'm not an intolerant person. But when that gaggle of teenagers stands outside my front door with all their friends SCREAMING at the top of their lungs, my ears start to smoke. I start having halcyon visions of armed guards and RAZOR WIRE! I swear they didn't do this before the kids next door moved out, but I guess they just felt the need to take up the slack. Plus, they're so happy that they just HAVE to share the joy of their spoonfed-from-TLR pablum pop music with the entire neighborhood. Excuse me, but it is NOT getting hot in here! You will NOT take off all your clothes!

Ordinarily, I'd just crank In Flames or Fear Factory up to maximum volume and teach them a lesson. (They scatter like roaches and the noise stops. Believe me, I've tried it.) Except for the fact that my father is trying to sleep in here as well and that's why it's a particular problem. It'd be one thing if it was just me having to deal with it. I just grumble and move on. But when it starts affecting those close to me, then I have a problem. A big problem.

*sigh* In other news, I'm starting to gather in quotes on the Toyota I want. Some decent, some not-so-decent. I'm just so eager for a new car I can taste it. I just wish I didn't have to deal with car dealers or insurance agents. I find them loathesome and detestable, the basest form of human life. In the words of the Bard, I hate them as I hate "hell, all Montagues, and thee." But... a fair deal's a fair deal. And if one of these human sharks can hook me up with my first ever Brand New Car at a rate I can pay on my wages, then he shall have my undying gratitude.

*crosses fingers and hopes I can pull it together enough to make a purchase before the end of the month when the rebate promotion on the Toyota Echo ends.*

Mom's coming up on Thursday to view the house me & Dad saw today that we really liked. Jesu, let this be the one. It's really nice with a VAST basement, a nice kitchen and the prettiest backyard. I want them to have a house and be happy and I want my own life to get back to normal. I don't mind sharing the burden. But, a burden is still a burden. That's why people share them.

But I'm not worried about it. It's hard to stay unhappy when you've got the Hamtaro song in your head. It's Hamtaro Time! HAM-TA-RO! When we work together it's much better! MY-BEST-FRIEND!...
