Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character note from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues!

1) Death (from "Good Omens")
2) Magneto
3) Sawyer (from "Lost")*
4) Blaine the Mono
5) Joscelin Verruile
6) Agent Smith
7) Willow Rosenburg
8) Drusilla
9) Ron Weasley
10) Elizabeth Swan
11) Starscream
12) Cobra Commander

*I've only seen the first third of season 2 so no spoilers!

Letters,
What do I get if I dont tell you how the season ends? I mean, you want something, you gotta pay the price. And laaast time I checked, I was the price-setter around here.

Now bugger off and leave me the heck alone, I've got reading to do.
Sawyer

PS: I dont take cash, just guns, food or medicines.

WHAT IS A MEME?

From: [identity profile] ghaidin.livejournal.com
From what I understand, it's a... thing that gets passed around (all those about your favorite music, I'll write you a story etc)

Now, since that was a great question and because the above "thing-theory" didn't sound very conving looked it. Link goes to the wiki
Exerpt:

The term "meme" (IPA: [miːm]), coined in 1976 by Richard Dawkins, refers to a replicator of cultural information that one mind transmits (verbally or by demonstration) to another mind. Dawkins said, Examples of memes are tunes, ideas, catch-phrases, clothes fashions, ways of making pots or of building arches.

Go figure

Um, actually, that was supposed to be Death, from "Good Omens."

I think it may actually have been Death from Discworld, though. They do look an awful lot alike.

Em, um... what can I say. Sorry for being so idiotic? :S
The capital letters should have been a give-away, but I only know the Death from Discworld and didn't know other Deaths were also capitals-inclined.

Your reply leads me to believe that you have not, in fact, read Good Omens. If this is indeed the case, all I can say is, do so. Immediately.

I always see Discworld Death as speaking in Copperplate Gothic, and Good Omens Death as being in very bold Times New Roman.

Death wouldn't know what memes are because meme's don't die.

My Dear Mr Kimber,
Upon your enquiry that my husband and I join you for your garden party, I must inform you of our inability to attend. As I'm sure you have heard by now, my wedding did not take place because of the intervention of one rather odious representative of the East India company, but I shan't name names. As I write to you my dear Will has been sent to find a pirate one of our more eccentric friends and I myself remain incarcerated, else I would surely attend your gala. Please do accept my apology on behalf of myself and Mr Turner.

-Sincerly
Elizabeth Swan

I would do the Starscream one, but I'd have to go shoot myself for sounding so annoying.

Mister Uberreiniger,

Your journal does display writing talent, and though art is...ultimately...worthless, it does keep you busy and occupied. Your choice to...immerse yourself...in artificial realities is both informative and ironic. As long as you live out your short, pitiful life in diversions such as this, you will never have to worry about meeting me again.

P.S. - That third movie made even ME want to vomit.

Agent Smith
