It has come to my attention that, during a recent post, I may have been less than sensitive to the literary works of American fictionist Mercedes Lackey. In the interest of fairness, I feel it is only appropriate that I now explain what I feel is positve about Mercedes Lackey's books.
1) Their compact size, brilliant pastel colors, and sizable enumeration makes them ideal for Easter Egg hunts. Simply hide a bunch around your house, call some friends over, and viola! Instant party! Try doing THAT with Opera's Book of the Month!
2) She's got a serious mad-on for Christian Fundamentalists and let's face it, Christian Fundamentalists have it coming.
3) On her worst day, she's still a hell of a lot better than Piers Anthony.
I'm sure there are other good things too. Man, I really need to re-read those books now.
