Writer's Block: Found Objects

[Error: unknown template qotd]In my late teens/early 20's I was a fan of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. It was the trading card game based on the Vampire: The Masquerade RPG that was enjoying its heyday at the time. My two friends and I went to a Christian music festival once and took all our cards with us to give us something to do between concerts. Long story short, my two companions had a big, radical, religious experience at a show and came to the conclusion that games about vampires were not spiritually okay. They dumped all their cards in a trash bag and tossed it outside the tent. I retrieved that trash bag; several hundred dollars worth of free cards, all mine.

In the interest of full disclosure I did tell them I was retrieving that bag and its contents and they said they didn't care if I kept it.
