Slightly-belated weekend catch up post.

My weekends tend to be very lazy these days. However on Saturday we did go out to see duendegrrland zoriakaliand their bellydancing troupe perform at a local festival. Said festival was really just a bunch of hokey cowboy-themed attractions down in a local public park, but I'll brave just about anything to see some good bellydancing. Naturally the troupe put on an amazing performance despite having to put up with with the sound-checking rock band just a few hundred meters away and a creepy DJ who caused their performance to start late, we think because he was off using ice cream to entice children into his child molestor van. I tell ya, creepy is watching a bony, leathery, fifty year-old guy watching a group of bellydancers and then breathing into a microphone that he "wishes he could do that." But to hell with him, the dancing rocked!
