Back in the Saddle.
Apr. 26th, 2003 06:00 pmWell, got my car back today and she's finally running the way she should again. Hallelujah. Getting her back meant being late for my apt. with the lady directing the Jesus play that I'm in. She was auditioning some more people and wanted me to help read. Sadly, I came in on the end didn't really get to help. She had some promising women read but no men came and we still need one. Grr! We need to find a guy so we can start rehearsing! Oh well, a few more weeks of having free time won't kill me. I'll miss it when it's gone.
In other news, drove to game stores all over the area looking for d10's since My sack of d10's and glass beads was tragically lost last weekend :( I don't know what the problem is, but the only ones any of the stores had were the butt-ugliest colors known to man. Mostly earth-tones resembling the stools of herbivorous animals in various stages of health. Yech. Gimme shiny colors, people!
After that fiasco, stopped at Best Buy and picked up a cd with 4000 text fonts on it for five dollars. Knowing my luck it'll be one of those deals where you have to actually download the fonts from some website for sixty bucks. Ah, well, there's one born every minute. But that's okay. Five bucks is five bucks. And the point is that I'm not walking anymore. Appreciate your cars folks. Ya miss 'em when you don't have 'em.
