No more nights of blood and fire.

Well, I'm feeling much better today. Like everybody, I get fed up sometimes. Unfortunately, I'm one of those rare people who does so VERY LOUDLY. It's unseemly of me. I should include a disclaimer with such outbursts that they're not to be taken seriously. This is the reason why I take great care not to expose myself to gamma radiation.
Actually, scratch that last remark. Given the way the world is today, gamma radiation is no longer funny.
I've gotten a fair amount of editing done the last two nights. The only drawback to reading my own work from the beginning is that since I've spent so much time with it and know what's going to happen is that I become a poor judge of whether it's exciting or entertaining or not. Time to see how serious all those people were who said they wanted to read it as soon as I was done... heh heh. Also checked out a link to a small publisher a friend sent me. Looks interesting, and pretty good as far as small publishers go, but nothing to jump at until I've looked around some more. Still, they give me something to think about... and my friend knows the head of the company personally. Might be a nice ace in the hole if nothing else works out.
