The music process is going swimmingly well. Or would be if a certain
thanis_bloodsto would return my calls ;) After the show is over with, I think I should celebrate. Anybody wanna help me by donating $800 to help me buy this?
Wishful thinking I know. Bills to pay, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, I know I'm late to throw in my opinion but I watched the presidential debate last night, and aside from it being the dryest presidential debate I've ever seen, I will chime in with the rest of the world and surprise no one by saying that Kerry won hands down. I'm a Bush supporter, but as a coworker told me, he looked like he came to an hour-and-a-half debate with thirty minutes' worth of material... and as I added, he burned through it all in about fifteen minutes. Whenever you say "uhhhh..." in a debate, you have automatically lost. And he said "uhhhh..." four times that I counted. Meet John Kerry, next president of the United States.
And now, if you'll excuse, a certain special person keeps distracting me on Yahoo Messenger. I have to go :)

As for the debate. Kerry won on style, but Bush won on substance. I'll keep my political nose out of your LJ though.

Date: 2004-10-02 01:45 am (UTC)I still think Bush has all the substance in his arguments, but he didn't articulate it worth a damn last night. And that's gonna lose him undecided voters. All we can do is hope he turns it around next week. I think he can, but if by some chance he doesn't he'll lose the election for sure.

Date: 2004-10-02 02:05 am (UTC)Undecided voters....good grief. They need to be kicked in the nuts. Nearly 4 weeks until the elections, and people still don't know who to vote for. Feh! Where the hell have they been the past 4 years? ok, I'll stop :)

Date: 2004-10-02 10:12 pm (UTC)Kick Ass Bass
Date: 2004-10-03 01:32 am (UTC)I love the guitar. I second the compliment on your "impeccable" taste. It makes me want to dig out a notebook from grade school - back when I would write out Metallica - just because of the cool way the letters were. Someone who designed this was stuck on Metallica. Well, I guess it was probably a trend before that group made it so mainstream for even girls to be writing it all the time. :)
Sorry - I spend my $$ on things to make me cuter, not things to sound nice - although I want to try singing lessons. Hmmm, perhaps the lessons, but only in addition to stylish things to wear. But, you could check out ebay Item number: 3751596727 or similar items...less than $200. My ex purchased 5 different guitars on ebay and had great luck on price and quality (mostly signed pieces).
