You're absolutely right!

Rather, they bled to death, their heart and/or breathing stopped due to toxic levels of chemicals, they suffered severe head trauma, the suffered massive body trauma from slamming into the concrete at a high rate of speed, the were unable to breathe due to fluid in their lungs, or they were crushed, trampled, or otherwise chopped up by the wheels and/or hooves.

You gotta remember: jumping off the building doesn't kill you, it's the sudden stop at the end of the ride!

Not sure if I agree completely with that. Ok for the first part, true that it's not the weapon of choice that does the actual killing.
But I think another weapon to actually kill is "I do believe..." Perhaps in the 'wrong' things, or in things that aren't the right way for them. It's a state of mind, but it's not necessarily the not believing which kills someone, IMHO.

That's true from a certain point of view, but what I was getting at is that people in despair who take that have already been dying inside before they decide to do it. They've been living without something to believe in, something to want more than life. It's the idea that people can't truly die until they've given up.
