uberreiniger: (then what happened?)

Me and [livejournal.com profile] poorheather's plans to record some music tonight got shot down when the recording engineer/producer came down sick at the last minute, so we've rescheduled for tomorrow night. It was just as well. My sleep today was interrupted several times by phone calls regarding the studio and by the time he called me to call off, I was pretty fried. I slept until 10:30 tonight.

I'm afraid I might be getting sick. I haven't had much appetite the last few days and twice when I've eaten today I've felt queasy afterwards. Not so bad like I'm going to throw up, but just enough that I don't want to move around or do anything, or even look at food or drink. I've been pretty deprived in the sleep department lately, so I guess it comes as no surprise. Or it could mean I can't ignore the need to renew my acid reflux perscription any longer, as a general feeling of "fullness" is part of the disease. Combining it all with having jumped back into an exercise regimen this week probably hasn't helped. So when health professional-types tell you not to overdo it, kids, it would appear that they really do mean it.

Aw, take care of yourself! And do get some more sleep the next few days, sometimes I can stop the sickness you think you are getting. As for acid reflux medication, I don't think it's really wise to stop taking them for a prolonged period of time, because they usually take some time to really start working effectively when you do. *hugs*

Perscriptions aren't covered by my health insurance so I have to pay for the perscription out of pocket. I haven't been able to afford it so I've been using over the counter meds, which work fine, just not as well. I get by on them okay, but some days are rougher than others.

sorry you feel icky. You need more/better sleep. That almost always helps. Aren't there some viable OTC drugs for the Acid reflux?

That's what I've been using, but the drugs come in different power levels with the OTC stuff being the weakest. I can get by on it for a while, but I eventually always need to go back to the ultra-powerful, ultra-expensive perscription stuff.

...you didn't tell me about all this on the phone...

*fourty lashes with wet noodle*

I hope by now you're feeling better.
