Went and got my hair cut today. I really need to find a job that doesn't have some stupid appearance code. I hate that every time my hair just starts to get long enough where I feel like I look like "me" that it's time to get it cut again. But the lady actually did a good job today. It's the first haircut I've been happy with in probably a year.

The downside? The stylist obviously had a cold and she was breathing on me the entire time. Now my throat is starting to tingle. Isn't a good haircut always too good to be true? Oh buggere alle.

I'm on my second day of antibiotics. I've got a nice little throat infection going on. So far it's just painful enough to be a nuisance. Antibiotics sure make you regular...

Whether it's your nose or something else, something's always just got to be runny...

My sick isn't contaigous. =)

I could use a haircut, but I'm too scared of a bad one to make a change. Wimpy, wimpy, Lurex.

Having the 2 kids, every time a darn bug goes around, it comes home. Aren't public schools grand? I can actually look foreward to that aspect of summer, as it means less exposure to other kids usually.

What do you expect from public schools? Asking more would be like asking them to be more than just warehouses for kids!

hey now... Mine is. Small town, we have small classes, and good staff, that actually gives a darn about the kids. God knows mine know me and mine well...After the mother in law went in impersonating me to the speech teacher to get info about my son, I made sure of it.

That is very good indeed. And very fortunate too. I seem to keep meeting teachers whose hands are so completely tied by school administrations that even attempting to do their jobs as they should be done is almost pointless. Very discouraging.

I'm glad to hear your hair cut turned out well. I was always terribly paranoid that the hair dresser was going to screw up and cut off too much (as happened to several of my friends, usually around the times I would consider getting mine done...) so I ended up having my friends and myself keep it trimmed, and for a while had hair down to the very base of my back. My mother always complained that I looked like I had wandered out of a Renaissance painting and was in the wrong time period heh. Recently I got it cut much shorter (halfway down my back) and layered in the front, and I must say I think it looks rather nice. It's still long, but not so much of a hassle.

Sick? In the middle of summer? Good God. I've never heard of such a thing! That's just...wrong!
