Actually talking about my day for once

Got blissfully little done today except work on the story I'm writing. Had a wonderful morning chatting with mellifera and went to bed way too late because of it, but that was okay. Called and found out why my mom's birthday present hasn't shown up a month after I ordered it. Turns out their warehouse wrote it down to be shipped to the wrong state! They're re-sending it free of shipping charges so at least we'll finally get it. Just would've been nice if it wasn't TWO WEEKS after my mom's birthday has passed and if my emails I sent asking about it hadn't been ignored.

Tahnee called me tonight after I had a dream about her today and she told me how she survived falling to her death. Good job again, Tahnee! Will have to be looking for her on local TV soon in commercials for the local Ren Fest HuzzaH! Also had an interesting talk about lucid dreaming and what you might be able to do with it...

Oh, I also enrolled in Triple A so now that's one less thing to worry about in preperation for my trip to Georgia. Now if only I could find out whether or not the office has approved my vacation time...

I still haven't got the hang of lucid dreaming yet. A good friend of mine is getting quite good at it and has shared his findings and everything with me, in the hope that I'll manage it as well, but so far, no luck. I only seem to realize I'm dreaming at the moment I wake up.

I dunno, those dreams you told me about definately sounded like you were in control ;)

Triple A is a company here in America that provides roadside assistance. You pay them an annual fee and then if your car breaks down they'll pay to have it towed and to generally take care of you. They also help find discounts on hotels and airline tickets. Things like that.

It's a fourteen hour drive either way. I'll be gone about eight days total. And once I'm back I immediately have to house-sit again!

See, this is what happens when I leave LJ for a week. You all go insane and go on road trips, and I have no idea what's going on. You'll all be having frat parties on my LAN, next thing I know.
