When in doubt, tire yourself out
Feb. 20th, 2004 01:47 amIf you're ever having trouble getting to sleep, may I suggest that taking two Tylenol PM's and running up and down the stairs a dozen or so times does wonders.
It was a beautiful day here. I had forgotten just how wonderful a taste of spring could be. It's nice and cloudy, wet and sultry without being sticky. It's the kind of weather that would be perfect for the opening of a gumshoe movie. You know, with some sleazy saxophone music gently loeing over a montage of glistening female lips blowing smoke. Cut to my office door with the letters in black stencil over frosted glass reading "JACK QUINCANNON, PRIVATE EYE." Yeah, I could dig that. I could totally get used to that.
In other news, the decision was made based on one line of the script to make my character walk with a cane. I don't know if I agree with the decision, but we'll see if it works. Nothing like throwing a wrench in the blocking a week before the show.
My career as a pirate seems to be paying off. My day was considerably brightened by the sighting along the Florida coast of two playful albino whales! Thanks

Speaking of pirates, I need to get my arse in gear and write some fiction for
thesaltyhooker. It's been way too quiet over there of late and somebody needs to stir things up.
That is all.
