A horrifying thought

I was watching the annual really cool commercials fest Sunday night, (what some call the "Super Bowl,") and I saw the preview for the movie Troy. I was sitting here thinking "man, this is gonna be awesome." And then, a horrifying realization hit me...
Brad Pitt is playing Achilles.
Achilles, in case you didn't know it, is gay. That's not wrong, mind you. It's ancient Greece and they did that back then. But it is something that gets glossed over a great deal. Achilles spends 60% of The Illiad avenging the death of his gay lover. He is gay and Brad Pitt is playing him.
Slowly, my mind began to tie the knots. Brad Pitt as gay man + Orlando Bloom also in film. Brad Pitt. Gay Man. Orlando Bloom. Do you have any idea what this means?
I'll tell you what it means. When this movie comes out there is going to be a plague of Slash fiction the likes of which the internet has never seen.
Flee now if you know what's good for you. You have been warned.
