uberreinigerI am at work now and have been thinking for a long time about quotes. You know quotes - not the type that tell you how various stocks are doing, but those little nuggets of wisdom ripped out of context and presented as cosmic truisim like something from a fortune cookie only without the absurd lucky numbers and the shitty sweet cookie. Quotes are a big part of my life. I have a lot of favorites. They have defined who I am in many ways. And now they shall define you too! Here are just a few of my recent favorites.
"I used to be a human being. Now I'm just like everybody else."

On a side note, the great thing about quotes is that they are a noble and easy thing to aspire to. Coming up with a stylish soundbyte is one of the cheapest and most surefire ways to secure immortallity. Not many people probably know a great deal about the philosophies of Niezche, but a lot of people do know that he once said something really kick-ass sounding about staring into abysses and them staring back at you. And if I can be like Niezche when I grow up (i.e., an insane, misanthropic jerk with a big goofy mustache who's remembered for some badass-sounding snippets,) I think I will have done pretty good :)
