In what little sleep I did get however...
Jul. 6th, 2006 05:44 pm...I had the craziest dream. I dreamt I was a Sidereal Exalted (fate/destiny-manipulating super-people from White Wolf's Exalted rpg,) and was taking a break from engaging in machinations with my fellow Sidereals (when you can control the forces of destiny you tend to machinate a lot.) Essentially, I was on lunch hour, but had to hurry because I basically had an all-night double shift of machinating ahead of me. I wish I could remember what all the machinations were about but alas it is lost int he garbled bueaucratic language of dream plots. Anyway, I found myself going into this Wal-Mart-like store for supper because they had a Subway in the very back... only there was this huge line because a high school pep band bus had gotten there just ahead of me.
You'd think with my destiny powers I really would have seen that coming. Or been able to do something about it. However I do remember finally doing something to get myself to the front of the line. When I get there I find that the person making the sandwiches is none other than my high school band teacher. My delight at seeing him again after all these years is ruined, however, because I keep making him angry. I keep forgetting to tell him that I didn't want things like onions and tomatos on my sandwich until after he's already put them on.
Then I get outside and think my car has been stolen only to realize I've just forgotten where I parked. The sad thing was this parking lot only had six cars. But it was a big parking lot.
So the tally stands at: stuck in line at fast food restaurant, inadvertantly behaves like rude, annoying customer, forgets where car is parked. Final verdict: Worst. Sidereal. Ever.
I'm not even going to get into the part about the Dragon-Blooded guy who was driving a chariot pulled by Jayhawks, (as in the Kansas University mascot.)

Date: 2006-07-07 02:41 am (UTC)I was in Brookhaven Hospital, only it looked more like a real hospital, there was a big long hallway, and I ran down some stairs, opened the door into this hallway, and there was a Victim 07+08 monster running at me. I shot it, and realized that I wasn't supposed to be in that hallway, so I go back into the stairwell and I'm running up the stairs and my thought was .. "ah crap, I gotta run back to the basement and get the paint thinner"
... there are many things wrong with that dream.

Date: 2006-07-08 06:02 am (UTC)Even in SH2 they are! I shot at them under the grate and watched one fall, and it's the same monster design. Wonder why they did that ...
