Dude!! I remember one of the directors from the community theater in Manhattan had a dog who did that. We were over at his house for a read thru and he was telling us about it. He said he asked the vet about it and the vet told him that there's stuff in cat poop that dogs can use. Like the cats don't need it but dogs do.
That doesn't make it any less gross, but at least you know they're not like, "ooh! Kitty candy!"
