uberreinigerIt never fails. I make a big purchase, I get a big problem. My boss took me aside as I was leaving work this morning and told me the company wants him to cut 48 hours from the account. 8 of which would be mine, leaving me at 32 hours per week and $160 shorter each paycheck. He has a meeting with them this week where he says he's going to fight to keep the schedule the way it is, as I'm not the only one getting hosed by this, albeit I'm getting it worse than most of the others.
I know I've complained about my boss in the past, but the fact he's willing to go to bat for me makes me retract every bad thing I've ever said about him and vow to say nothing bad in the future. He's confident he can convince them of the error of their ways and I hope he's right. Barton is a company that offers no sick leave, no days off, and no job security. Quite frankly, it would serve thme right not to get their way for once. I haven't even mentioned the new girl who'll be getting cut from the schedule completely. Granted, they'll probably just move her to another account, but she shouldn't have to put up with that.
To those of you who are the praying types, I'd appreciate the back-up. To those of you who are not, I'd appreciate any other back-up that you have. Right now there's nothing I can do but cross my fingers and wait and see.
