It feels like work!

Today I've done more before 10 AM than I usually do all week. This is the first time I've ever had a backlog of work to catch up on here. Yesterday our data entry program in which we log all the day's events crashed in the middle of the afternoon. Shortly after this, one of our vendors brought down twenty two packages to be shipped out - which is about 21 more than is average for a given work day. I'm responsible for entering all the packages' shipping information, but obviously I could not. So I've spent this morning entering all that data, plus the other routine data from yesterday that I couldn't enter, plus the ongoing data from today. Today is one day where I really do feel I've lived up to my job title, or I will if can get all of today's work I've yet to do, done.

Oh, and it really shouldn't be surprising that they got the program back up and running yesterday right after I left :P
