People don't know metal when they hear it.

Went and saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra last night and it was a blast as always. Such an incredibly talented band. It always amuses me at their holiday shows, seeing people showing up in fancy clothes like they were going to the opera. If only they knew that the TSO are mostly 20+ year veterans of metal bands. After the Christmas part of the set, they started rocking out a bit harder and some members of the audience left. I smiled. My mom was throwing up the horns. There was a time when that would have embarassed me. Now it just makes me proud.

I just finished watching an episode of Angel (one of the ones I hadn't seen - which are many.) and now COPS is on. I need to eat something, bathe, and get out of the house.
