Arrived at A&A's house to play L5R tonight only to find drama. It didn't involve me, which in a way made it worse since I had to pretend to be mostly invisible while it played out. Just kept my head down and looked at my cards. The drama involved Meghan, who, for those with long memories, was my love interest at approximately this time last year. She's a sweetie, but as high maintennance as she is, it's probably a good thing that I didn't end up with her. We were supposed to play the fabulous card game that is Munchkin-Fu, but sadly, never got around to it. The evening ended with a discussion on Christianity, which is always interesting. Adam and I share a lot of the same views on things in the Bible, which is nice since I so rarely meet anyone who shares my views on things in the Bible at all.
Today will probably consist of refining my L5R deck for
donkeyjon's tournament on Saturday and revelling in my rediscovered addiction that is Monster Rancher 2 for Playstation. Yes, you can make fun of me for that. I deserve it. I've also got five pages of revision left to do on the current chapter of the novel that I'm on, so I'll squeeze that in at some point as well and then hopefully start on the next one. It's been hard because I'm at a part in the story I've never been completely happy with and I'm still not completely happy with it. But I don't know how to change it to anything better. It is, as they say, the best of a bad set of options.

This is the problem with LJ, we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other. I'm going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.
