Bravissimo

My mom's show was excellent tonight. Lesley said I was beaming like a proud parent and I guess I was. She was just so good! My mom stole the show in a play that was full of intricate, fascinating moments vieing for attention. I am just so proud. Of course my mom constantly second-guesses whether she was any good. And my saying so doesn't convince her. But she was amazing and she's just going to have to start believing it.

Was disappointed that Dean and Lesley didn't want to hang out afterward, but they have a long drive in the morning, so I understand. I'll get to see them tomorrow anyway when we have the Dracula reunion party.

And I am feeling a little better after some rest, but I can tell I need a little more. Thanks for all the well wishes.
