Today was a fairly decent day. After having to make a mad dash back to Dean & Lesley's last night before work to pick up my work clothes I'd left over there things remained pretty calm from then on. It is nice to be back home after two weeks of not living there and back into my old morning routine of watching Fox News and chatting with
cygny and
mellifera It was also nice to have access to my guitars again. I now have a second piece of music for the play completed and awaiting Dean's approval. When I say "completed" I mean the basic melody completed. It doesn't include throwing in the rest of the instrumentation. It's okay, not stressing... not stressing... And I got a little work on novel re-write #3 done too, so I can't say I didn't do anything, although I did waste a good chunk of time fiddling with decks for the Doomtown CCG, which Adam and I have rekindled our interest in. (It's a card game based on the Deadlands RPG, which is what the wild west would've been like had it been crawling with ghosts and demons and whatnot.) I'm really good at wasting time with my CCG's when I know I have other stuff that needs doing. Sometimes I wonder if locking them in a box and giving someone else they key might not be the best thing whenever I have responsibilities that need tending. Everyone's got their downfall, I guess. At least mine is a happy one! :)
