Figured out something today while talking to [livejournal.com profile] lurex:

My car runs on oil, so I am supporting George Bush.

My diet runs on Heinz ketchup, so I am supporting John Kerry.

Ralph Nader needs to make a product so I can support him too.

Politics is easy! :)

Today was a fairly decent day. After having to make a mad dash back to Dean & Lesley's last night before work to pick up my work clothes I'd left over there things remained pretty calm from then on. It is nice to be back home after two weeks of not living there and back into my old morning routine of watching Fox News and chatting with [livejournal.com profile] cygny and [livejournal.com profile] mellifera It was also nice to have access to my guitars again. I now have a second piece of music for the play completed and awaiting Dean's approval. When I say "completed" I mean the basic melody completed. It doesn't include throwing in the rest of the instrumentation. It's okay, not stressing... not stressing... And I got a little work on novel re-write #3 done too, so I can't say I didn't do anything, although I did waste a good chunk of time fiddling with decks for the Doomtown CCG, which Adam and I have rekindled our interest in. (It's a card game based on the Deadlands RPG, which is what the wild west would've been like had it been crawling with ghosts and demons and whatnot.) I'm really good at wasting time with my CCG's when I know I have other stuff that needs doing. Sometimes I wonder if locking them in a box and giving someone else they key might not be the best thing whenever I have responsibilities that need tending. Everyone's got their downfall, I guess. At least mine is a happy one! :)

Wow...

Just saw Ben Affleck on The O'Reilly Factor. I had lost all respect for the guy since it seemed like he's become your archtypal movie star in love with his own celebrity status. But I've got to admit he's actually really smart. If all Democrats were as rational and reasonable in their views as him I might still be one. He actually made look at John Kerry in a different light which is something none of the morons screaming "Bush is an evil murderer!" have been able to do so far.

But make no mistake Afflect. This doesn't change anything. I'm not forgiving you for Jennifer Lopez that easily!
