In other movie-related news, went and saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Meghan this evening. (Interestingly enough, Bill O'Reilly is on TV right now lambasting how movies like TCM are eroding society. How ironic.) Had a great time. Finally, I have discovered someone who loves to MST movies as much as I do. And we had an empty theatre to do it in! After narrowly avoiding an ass-kicking for my running commentary at "The Two Towers" I have learned to love empty theatres.

So I'm in a dark, empty movie theatre with a girl I think is kind of cute. What did I do? I did what every red-blooded American male would do: I joked about the movie with her! *round of high-fives with the fellas*

As I've said before, I don't think Meghan's got the slightest interest in me, but as we were going our seperate ways afterward there was a... moment, I guess you could say. That cute-awkward end-of-first-date maybe-we-should-hug-or-something kind of moment. It was gone in a blink of an eye, but left with the mutual feeling hanging between us that this had been a good idea and that it should definately be done again. This may sound like a whole lot of nothing to some of you, but it's the first sign of interest that I've seen from her and it came as quite a welcome surprise.

It's still not an active pursuit on my part, just a friendship that's fun to monitor for signs of potential evolution. But... holy geez, woman who MST's as relentlessly as I do and who listens in fascination as I explain who Ed Gein was to her. Maybe I should consider amping it up a notch...
