Well, the round-the-clock newsfeed shows that they're lugging the big ten commandments out of the courthouse in Alabammer. Not sure how I feel about it, or have felt all along. My feelings vacillate from one minute to the next. One thing's for sure, watching TV I do feel for the people who are protesting. Most of them they talk to are very sincere and genuinely hurt by what's happening. I'm a believer too, and maybe I should be passionate like they are. Trouble is, I see why the Establishment Clause exists and to which it was intended. Couple that with the uncertainty I've always had about my own view of theology and you get where I am now: unsure about how I feel.
SO-CALLED GEEK ALERT: In other news, I can triumphantly announce that I just won two of my all-time favorite Transformers, Skywarp and Prowl on ebay. There's no way in hell I should've spent the money, but they were my two favorites as a child and also the two that I never managed to acquire for my own collection. But now I can say with proud certainty that they are mine. Go me! And it only took me twenty years to do it. Now, if you'll excuse me I must go back to writing my D&D campaign.
