You know you're tired when...
Aug. 10th, 2003 02:38 am...You go to sleep at five a.m. and wake up at five-thirty p.m. Now it's morning again in America and I am not the least bit sleepy. So instead I'm trying to write a role-playing game scenario. Slow going. Lately I seem to have the desire to GM but not the ability. My head fills with ideas of its own accord, but getting them down on paper just feels like... work. And besides I really should be editing my novel anyway. Better do some of that while I'm at the computer.
My father returns today. So long privacy. Not that I mind helping him out, I'm just a solitary old miser and any time to myself is a welcome breath of fresh air. Just as when I'm alone too long any company is a welcome respite. I know, no pleasing some people.
In other news, three more days until Type O Negative \m/ I've heard nothing from my friends I was supposed to go with, but Lesley says it's okay if I tag along with her, providing Dean doesn't mind. Sure hope three isn't a crowd. I know Lesley doesn't mind, but I wouldn't blame Dean for wanting to treat the show as a date. I probably would. But Dean is also quite gregarious. Still, I feel iffy about going with them, not because it's Lesley and Dean but because of the whole third wheel issue I've often written about where couples are concerned. But it still beats going alone. In all odds, they'll probably lose me in the crowd once the show starts anyway. No way in hell I'm not getting close to the stage for Type O, hee hee... *evil*
Okay, thinking abotu Type O is getting me in the moods for dungeons and vampires and fallen gods of darkness and what not. I think I can go write a game now. Later!
