Hell Week X2 hasn't even started yet and I'm already tired

Which is why I took a nap tonight instead of watching all of Diane Sawyer's interview with Mel Gibson regarding "The Passion." What little I did see of it confirmed what I already knew.

1) That Mel Gibson is easily in the semi-finals for the title of Biggest Cojones in the World.

2) That depicting history as it actually happened is NOT racist in any form.

3) That Mel is smarter than every one of his detractors.

4) That Diane Sawyer has four brain cells and even that may not last very long as they have not been nourished in so long that they will probably soon resort to cannibalism.

I especially loved her trying to cast doubt on the gospels being true on the basis that historically Pontius Pilate was an iron-fisted ruler who wouldn't take no sh*t, yet in the gospels we see him capitulating to the will of the crowd. Puh-leeze, Diane. Spend more time reading history books instead of in the plastic surgeon's chair.

If I may stoop to using some un-Christian language, I would just like to say that there are a lot of asshats in this world.

its always interesting to me how so many non-Christian people i know assure me of how the gospels are chock full of inconsistencies and errors, yet when i ask them about these discrepancies that they speak so loudly and surely of, they inevitably have NOT EVEN ONE instance of the shit they speak and figure that "oh.. they're all over.. i'll get back to you" is a very adequate way to prove their point. and they never do get back to me on that. hmm. i bet these be similar to the same theological giants who love to wear the "Jesus is a cunt" shirts out and about to be seen and only have "fuck you" as a retort.

If I remeber correctly, Pontius Pilate was under alot of pressure from the Roman government he was actually relieved of his command a few years later. So at the time the last thing we wanted on his mind was a petty "jewish rivalry". So he wouldn't have given two shits, is the fact of the matter. He went through the motions anyway and found Jesus to be innocent and when the people said we don't care let's kill him anyway, he said, "Whatever" and left it at that.

I have no view on religion except that it shouldn't be forced on others... other than that.. I have never read the bible and don't care too... At this point in life I would have to say that i am agnostic and that I will find out the truth when I die... and if nothing happens when I die than I will know I was right all along.. you just get barried 6 ft under and that's it.. game over... I am going to be cremeated though :) I know this for sure :)
