Ahh! That's better.

My motherboard and power supply are arrived, installed, and the PC now runs better than ever. My PC is slowly turning into a Ship of Theseus but that's okay. It's fun to upgrade parts.

This means I am freed up from using my mom's ancient computer which turns firing off a FB or LJ comment in 20 seconds into a ten minute ordeal. I can now do things in a timely fashion.

It's too bad my WoW subscription ran out and I can't really afford to renew it until next week :(

I'm really glad your PC is back up. That would drive me up a wall.

Good luck with Wow.

I've got Dragon Age 1&2, Assassin's Creed, plus a small pile of PS3 games. That ought to see me through until next week :)

Yay for being properly equipped again.

Teehee, I love how you drag Greek mythology into this! A new name for your computer? And yay for having you back properly :)

I just found out that there is a WoW 'comic' (although European comics can't be compared to American ones, I have no idea how to call them otherwise) which is being published here. If Alby sees it, I'm sure he'll want it :P

In Europe don't they follow the graphic novel/manga format? I thought they did but I could be wrong.

I actually got interested in the Ship of Theseus concept after reading a comedy/horror novel called John Dies At the End where it was used to brilliant comedic effect. I didn't actually learn the name "Ship of Theseus" until just a few days ago. It's a concept you can sort of drive yourself crazy thinking of! Might be a good name for the PC too, you're right.

No, we don't. The format/size is larger and the books are thinner. But the nicer versions have hardcovers and they're absolutely lovely. I had an Argentinian friend over in December and she actually bought a few copies, even though she doesn't speak Dutch at all, just because the editions were so lovely.

I had heard about it, but mostly forgot. It's indeed a mind boggling concept to think about. But yes, nice PC name :D

yay for faster computers!

my desktop that I use from gaming is litterally a frankencomputer put together from spare parts we got from family members and friends who were upgrading and etc. And it runs AWESOME!

Mel's father built this one that I'm using. At this point though I think it's got more parts that I've put in than ones he did.

That is awesome! This is why I was so excited to get a desktop. Once your laptop is obsolete you just have to get a whole knew one, but desktops you just keep upgrading and it feels cool! lol

Not being able to take your desktop into bed with you still sucks though.

That's why I kept my laptop lol.
